Brewery Insights: 60 Minute leverages Northwest hops and moderate bitters to create a craft experience with citrus, grass, and pungent tasting notes.
Review
Overall Score: 7.1
60 Minute has a slightly darker tint for a 6% IPA. The palate is surprising with moderate complexity and bold flavors. The hops and bitters are both moderate to high, which makes this the best 6% beer I’ve ever tasted. The citrus notes are light and crisp in the finish. On a blind taste-test, I would have guessed 8% ABV, which speaks to the level of craftsmanship to brew this beer. It still doesn’t compete with the complexity and creativity of higher ABV beers, but this is highly recommend to consumers looking to take it easy while enjoying hops.
Degenerate Discussion
60 Minute’s flavors are a bigger surprise than when Kyrie Irving told us the earth was flat (fucking moron). This beer packs a hoppy punch while tipping the scale at a modest 6% ABV. The search for a low ABV, boldly flavored IPA has been long and lonely, but I finally found one. Shout out to Dogfish Head for answering our prayers. Who knows, maybe they’ll find a way to legalize weed in Texas. It’s a tough encore, but I wouldn’t put it past them after drinking this beer. Cheers Degenerates!
