Review
Overall Score: 5.9
Canadian Eh-F is an interesting way to say ‘Canadian as fuck.’ The brewery receives creativity points for that alone. The appearance is darker than anticipated for a cream ale. The palate is generous with coffee flavors with subtle maple notes. The taste is a combination of a blonde ale and stout, with moderate maple coffee flavors. It’s an odd concoction and doesn’t quite stick the landing, but it achieves their intent – a cream ale with maple vanilla coffee, and for that, you respect the hustle. It’s a good change up beer and nice for a BYO 6 pack, but I won’t purchase again. However, it did enough to influence me to purchase other beers from Saloon Door Brewing. And for that, Cheers Degenerates!
