Review

Overall Score: 8.1

Espresso Honey Imperial Milk Stout brings intense espresso flavors without the bite associated with most coffee drinks. The honey is distinct and noticeable in the finish, which is a difficult tasting note to hit. It’s not the most unique beer, but it nails the intended flavors and offers great balance. You could consume two of these, which is rare for a stout. The flavor profile is smooth with mild sweetness. This is an excellent stout and a step below extraordinary.

Degenerate Discussion

This beer tastes better than most of the espressos on the market. For true Degenerates, they should switch from morning coffee to shotgunning a few of these to start the day. It’s like Russian Roulette trying to figure out where the day will take you. At a minimum, at least you get a tasty stout that ranks above most competitors. You’ll marry a few hookers, but there’s no shame in that…
