This Hefeweizen from O’Connor Brewing Company is a solid German style wheat beer. It has a fine golden yellow pour with a white foam to top it off. It has great balance with a very soft body and carbonation. Drinking this it’s got me reminiscing about a blue moon which would be great with a sliced orange. If you are in town in Norfolk, VA I would recommend this Hefeweizen at O’Connor’s Brewing Co.
So I get a bit curious when I’m rating beer, its a cool experience to do research on what’s inside different ones. For example, German Hefeweizen is a Bavarian wheat beer that has at least 50% wheat malt and yeast. Now when I think about yeast I think about yeast infections which is fucking gross, and when I google image search yeast specifically for beer, I get a picture of a vagina with fungus inside of it. Okay I think I’ve lost my appetited for the night! Cheers Degenerates!
