Brewery Insights: Liliko’i offers moderate aromas and strong passion fruit flavors in a witbier with a tangy finish. It combines elements of a Belgian-Style wheat ale with juiciness and fruitiness to deliver a drink that’s perfect for breakfast, the beach, or chilling on the porch.
Review
Overall Score: 5.7
The appearance is moderate and lines up with a wheat beer with deeper, yellow colors (go to another site if you want them to lie about what it looks like, that’s the best description we have). The palate is smooth and creamy with subtle passion fruit flavors that aren’t overpowering. True to the brewery, this is a good beer to destroy at the beach based on the refreshing, citrus flavors. It also has enough flavor to keep you interested if you have a bolder palate (although, I still crush IPAs on the beach because I’m a Degenerate). This is a decent beer and finds a home with the wheat beer community. I also appreciate that the brewery suggesting we crush these at breakfast. What a great call to drowned out your shitty husband or wife’s voice along with the kids are screaming in the background.
