Brewery Insights: An out-of-this-world beer bursting with raspberry, apricot, and peach flavors. Take one small sip for man, then trek across the Moon on your rover through the lush groves of juicy, fresh fruit. It’s ONE GIANT BEER FOR MANKIND.
Overall Score: 8.8
Lunar Grove Fruited Wheat ale has a orange tang pour to it along with visible fruit particles floating around the cloudless. At first, I was like, did I pour this into a dirty glass? What’s all this shit floating around the beer? Then I realized it was part of the experience which give this Fruited Wheat ale some personality. Personally this was one of my favorite beers at O’Connor’s Brewing Co, it has a nice refreshing summer feel taste along with a nice crisp to it. This Fruited Wheat has raspberry, apricot, and peach flavors to it in which I thought if anything it tasted more peach then anything. If your up for something tasty and refreshing, swing by O’Connor’s Brewing Co. in Norfolk VA!
The cover art on the Lunar Grove with the astronaut driving around looking for some peaches, reminds me of Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness” just because that album was called “Man On The Moon.” Basically this Fruited Wheat Ale has me singing I’m on the pursuit of happiness and I know! Matter of fact, the astronaut driving around also reminds me when I was a teenaged lad on my bike riding to go get some peach at the neighborhood scallywag pitstop. However if a bicycle was already in the yard, you had to either wait your turn or come back later! Cheers Degenerates!
