Review
Overall Score: 7.0
Stone IPA has a standard color for the beer style. The palate offers moderate hops and semi-bold flavors. The tasting notes are mild citrus with light pine in the finish. This a well balanced IPA with above average hops, which makes it an easy selection when you’re at a bar. You can never go wrong with Stone IPA; it deserves to be one of the best-selling craft beers in the country. The hops are stronger than the fruit flavors, which is a must for IPAs, and it doesn’t lose flavor with the 6.9% ABV.
Degenerate Discussion
Stone IPA has served as a trusted confidant of mine for many years. It’s been a better friend to me than most people (no one should be shocked by that comment). This beer has led to many laughs, smiles, and an occasional fuck up, but we won’t hold my stupidity against Stone. It’s a good beer and is always there for you when options are limited. The consistency in this IPA is key; similar to a drug dealer you’ve established years of rapport with. Cheers to Stone for the memories and the entire Degenerate community!
